Two Dead In Two Crashes Over The Weekend

WFAA reported on a crash that killed a one-year-old injured two adults on State Highway 121 in Bedford.

According to Bedford firefighters, the crash happened around 12:45 am between Bedford Road and Murphy Drive. All three people in the car were taken to the hospital, but the child died there. One of the adults, a passenger, is still in critical condition. The police are still investigating the cause of the crash.

NBC in Dallas-Fort Worth reported on another fatal crash, this time on U.S. Highway 287 in Ennis. Around 11:30 a.m on Sunday, a man driving a Cadillac ATS north near the Texas Motorplex tried to cross the lanes at a crossover.

However, he did not yield to traffic and got hit by a Chevrolet Silverado carrying a family of four. The man in the first vehicle died at the crash site. Two others in the Silverado were injured and taken to the hospital, but they are expected to survive.

Our condolences go out to the families of the slain victims and hope that everyone injured recovers as well as possible. Please take care when you’re out on the roadways, especially late at night. You never know when someone might make a dangerous maneuver. Keep your distance and follow all the signs!
