Head-on Collision Kills Woman, Injures Child

Head On CollisionThe classic nightmare of any driver is to see someone approaching you from the wrong lane. Head-on collisions are the cause of many serious injuries and fatalities. It’s not just the angle of the crash, but also because people traveling in the wrong lane tend to do it at high speeds and without thought.

A man is being held at the Denton County Jail after he was involved in a head-on collision. Police say that he was driving in the wrong lane on Sherman Drive. He crashed head-on with a Ford Focus. The woman who was inside of the car was killed at the scene. The five-year-old child has been hospitalized. He has been charged with criminally negligent homicide and injury to the child. Police do not believe the man was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

When people take senseless actions like these and people get hurt as a result, the survivors want justice. One of the ways we get justice in our society is to file a civil lawsuit. The money from these lawsuits is meant to cover all the unexpected expenses of injuries and deaths and to provide a financial punishment for those who commit harmful actions to others.
