Crash On Country Club Road Ends In Motorcyclist’s Death
A young woman was involved in a motorcycle crash last Wednesday night, and that accident, unfortunately, ended in her death later that night, according to this report from Denton Record-Chronicle.
The young woman in question, only 29 years old, was riding a motorcycle the night of her death. The crash happened at about 9:29 p.m., and Denton police responded to a report of the crash immediately. They located the woman, who had been ejected from her bike, and rushed her to a local hospital. It was there that she was later pronounced dead. This happened in the 5000 block of Country Club Road. The driver of the other vehicle reportedly ran off the road and ended up in a nearby ditch.
It was noted that the area of Country Club Road where this accident occurred had an S-shape. It’s possible that the conditions of the road in the area could have contributed to the crash, but this has not been confirmed.
This accident is only the second fatal crash to have happened in Denton so far this year, and it’s the first reported fatal crash on Country Club Road since 2019. We ask that all drivers keep a sharp eye out for motorcycles. They can be hard to see at night, but we should all be watching for other vehicles more closely at night, anyway!
