Mother Seeks Answers in SXSW Accident
After tragic accidents involving death, families are left wanting answers to many questions. How did it happen? Why did it happen? Was there anything that could have been done? Answers to these and other questions can help a family move on, and could also prove useful in civil cases.
At the SXSW music festival this year, a driver plowed into a crowd. At least four people were killed in this accident, and the mother of that fourth victim is seeking answers. The accident happened on March 13th, and the man who died, DeAndre Tatum-O’Neal, has been in a medically induced coma since being taken to the hospital after receiving a head injury. Unfortunately, doctors weren’t able to save him.
The mother wants to know if he said anything to EMS, what sort of care he got, and did they do everything they could to save him. She plans on attending every court proceeding she can so she can get these answers. She also wants to confront the killer.
