One Man Killed In Single-Car Crash

One man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Midland, Texas. The man was 30 years old and originated from Brownwood, Texas, according to this report from the Your Basin news website.

The report came in early Sunday morning, a call made that caused both Midland Police and the Midland Fire Department to rush out to the scene of this single-vehicle crash. As they arrived, it was immediately evident that only one person had been involved, the driver of a truck that had veered from the roadway and rolled.

This happened in the 5500 block of Business 20. The truck had been traveling east when, for an unknown reason, the truck left the roadway. The man, later identified as a 30-year-old resident of Brownwood, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. This is because he was not wearing a seatbelt.

Certainly, this man’s family now mourns his passing. They left to pick up the pieces after this crash, the extensive pain and grief losing a loved one can cause, as well as the expenses involved in dealing with a crash and a death.

As for the rest of us, our heart goes out to the friends and family of this man. But we also can’t help but wonder if he’d still be alive today if he’d been wearing his seat belt.
