I-35W Crash Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured

That is what the families of two men are likely to face after a crash that involved a tow truck towing a vehicle that happened along Interstate 35W in Fort Worth on Thursday.
According to Fort Worth Police Department officials, the driver of the flatbed tow truck had been heading southbound on I-35W near Sycamore Road when he lost control of the vehicle and hit a concrete barrier at approximately 11:00 a.m.
The force of the collision jarred the disabled vehicle being towed into the tow truck’s cab, crushing it as the tow vehicle came to rest on top of the concreate barrier.
Two men had been inside the tow vehicle at the time of the accident. The crash left one of the men dead and injured the other. MedStar EMS officials have not given the identity of either crash victim, nor would they comment on whether it had been the driver or passenger killed in the crash pending notification of family members.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the crash.
