Truck Rams through Fence, Car, House
It was a beautiful Dallas night, perfect for sleeping in. The Pleasant Grove area wasn’t going to get much sleep, though. The driver of a truck was determined not to leave it be a peaceful night. Just before midnight, around 11:45, this driver tore through a barrier and right into a home’s front yard. It didn’t stop, however, smashing into the front of the house and the car.
The occupants of the house were immediately awakened. “It felt like a bomb. My mother, she was scared and she was crying. My baby, my mother was in that room,” says the resident. Neighbors immediately came to help out the family, but the driver of the truck fled from the scene.
The driver wasn’t injured, though he didn’t get very far away from the scene and was immediately taken into custody. The charges are pending, but investigators are suspecting that alcohol was a factor in the incident.
The people involved in this house crashing are not angry at the person who did the crashing, they’re merely thankful that everyone within the family is alive and well.
