The traffic wreck that resulted killed a 33-year-old man from Watauga.
Avdiu was charged with manslaughter, according to Tarrant County criminal court records. As he awaits trial, the father of the man that died in the accident has filed a wrongful death suit against Avdiu, as well another driver that was involved in the wreck.
Multiple-vehicle crashes are the hardest to deal with after the fact. The chain of cause and effect can be tricky to follow, and it isn’t easy to know where to cast blame.
Meanwhile, lives can be lost and injuries can challenge the livelihood of others. Property damage can go into the hundreds of thousands, if not millions. All this is the result of the careless driving of one person on the road.
If you are ever involved, directly or indirectly, in a major accident, you may also have to turn to a lawsuit to get the fund you need to take care of the damages imposed. And, in the case of loss of life, the emotional damages may last decades.
