Driver Hits Truck, Assaults The Truck Driver, Then Leaves The Scene
A hit-and-run crash victim was assaulted on video by the other driver before he fled. Police are seeking help in the matter. Dallas News reports.
The accident happened late Wednesday on I-20 in Red Bird near I-35 East. A Ford Crown Victoria rear-ended a pickup truck and kept going down the highway before breaking down. The pickup driver pulled over near the Crown Victoria to exchange insurance information.
The car had two adult males and two children in it. All of them got out of the car and one of the men attacked the pickup driver, punching him several times. A passer-by caught the exchange on their dash cam, which you can view at the link above. Then the car occupants got into a gray van that pulled up to the scene and fled.
