Alleged Drunk Driver Flips Car, Kills Passenger Near Frisco
A driver has been arrested for intoxication manslaughter after a single-vehicle crash near Frisco killed his passenger. Dallas News reports.
The accident happened last Wednesday on U.S. Highway 380 according to the police. They say the driver was going east on the highway at 3 AM and then lost control of his vehicle near Legacy Drive. The car flipped over multiple times and threw the passenger out of the vehicle. She made it to the hospital, but died there from her injuries. The report does not say if she was wearing a seatbelt or not.
The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment, then arrested on the charges. Police are still investigating the circumstances. Toxicology reports are pending.
