Drunk Driving Crash Sends Five to Hospital
As if we need another drunk driving crash to remind us about the dangers of driving while intoxicated, another one has hit the local airwaves. Here’s what happened this time.
At Ramona and Hudspeth near South Oak Cliff High School, a Crown Victoria ran a stop sign and crashed into a Lexus. Inside the Lexus was a grandfather and two grandchildren. The Crown Victoria contained an alleged drunk driver and a passenger. All were injured in the crash and taken to the hospital.
The grandfather and one grandchild just received minor cuts, but the other grandchild broke her jaw. The driver of the Lexus suffered a broken hip and the passenger had neck and back pain.
The driver of the Lexus will be booked into jail once she recovers from her injuries.
