Rental Truck And Fire Engine Collide In Dallas

Any time an accident involves emergency vehicles and other vehicles on the road, potentially serious accidents can occur. Fire engine, police and ambulance drivers sometimes drive recklessly or travel at high speeds, causing a perfect set of circumstances for an accident to happen.

According to a story which appeared on NBC’s Dallas Fort Worth affiliate station Channel 5’s website that may have been exactly what happened in the early morning hours on Wednesday, May 3rd to cause such an accident.

Authorities say that the accident occurred between a Penske rental truck and a Dallas Fire and Rescue engine at the intersection of E. Keist Boulevard and S. Beckley Avenue.

The accident has left three Dallas firefighters and civilians injured. Accident victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment. No further word has yet been released about the condition of those injured in the accident.

Dallas Police Department investigators did close down the area in order to investigate the crash. So far, authorities have not released an official cause for the crash.  There is still no word from officials as to who may have been at fault, or if charges will be pending after the accident.

We hope that everyone who was injured in the crash recovers successfully and gets the compensation they need to cover their medical costs and other expenses.
