Cause Of Crash Unknown, But Eight People Were Injured

A multi-vehicle crash involving a Greyhound bus along Interstate 30 in Fort in the very early morning hours on Friday has left eight people injured.

According to an article which was reported on CBS’ Dallas-Fort Worth website, the accident occurred along I-30 near Beach Street at approximately 4:30 a.m.

The Greyhound bus had been carrying more than 40 people on a scheduled route from Abilene to Dallas. Six of the people reported to be injured were passengers on the bus while two additional people were in other vehicles. Police and emergency crews from MedStar Ambulance Services were called to the scene.

An additional 34 people were examined at the scene of the crash. A second Greyhound bus was called to the scene of the accident to pick up passengers who were on the bus but were uninjured.

Wreckers carried at least one of the two other vehicles involved in the crash away on a flat-bed tow truck. A second vehicle was parked near the bus which had suffered substantial front end damage in the accident. Police investigators are still looking into the ultimate cause of the early morning crash. No charges have been filed so far in the case.

We hope that the person responsible for this crash is found. When people are in crashes and fault isn’t assigned, insurance companies get a chance to mess around with claims.
