Red Light Runner Causes Fatal Crash
Nearly every driver will try to scoot past a yellow before it turns red, but crossing a red light can cause an accident. These accidents can easily turn fatal for drivers. Unfortunately, it’s usually the innocent driver following traffic rules. One such scene happened in Dallas according to NBC Dallas-Ft. Worth.
A man ran a red light at Abrams Road and Walnut Hill Lane on Tuesday evening. The driver collided into the side of a Lexus. The collision pushed the Lexus into a Volkswagen that was stopped for the red light.
The driver that broke the law and the driver of the Volkswagen were unharmed, but the driver of the Lexus was killed at the scene. Two children were in the car with him at the time. They were taken to the hospital for a checkup.
The driver that caused all this has been charged with criminally negligent homicide. We hope that the victim’s families are able to receive compensation for their loss.
